Osman Foyo netted twice as Town’s U21s defeated Crystal Palace 4-2 in their third group game in the Premier League Cup at Sutton United this evening.

There was just one change from Monday's 5-0 defeat at Charlton, with Henry Gray replacing Woody Williamson in goal.

Foyo opened the scoring for the Blues in the 25th minute, before adding his second 10 minutes later and Nico Valentine made it 3-0 in the 38th minute.

Leon Ayinde added the fourth in first-half injury time for a impressive first half for the Blues.

Eight minutes after the restart, David Ozoh pulled one back for the Eagles, then Danny Imray added a second for the host on the 72nd minute, before Foyo was denied his hat-trick in stoppage time.

John McGreal's side had previously been held to a goalless draw with Birmingham and lost 2-0 at Middlesbrough as they sit top of their group, with four points.

The young Blues return to league action on Tuesday November 21st at Playford Road.
