Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna says he has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday's trip to West Brom.

Winger Wes Burns and full-back Brandon Williams both missed games due to a shoulder injury and illness respectively, while Cameron Burgess, Massimo Luongo (both Australia) and Nathan Broadhead (Wales) have recently been away on international duty.

"Everyone has come back well, it seems," said McKenna, speaking ahead of Saturday's tea-time kick-off at the Hawthorns (5.30pm).

"Elkan (Baggott, Indonesia) is the only one who hasn't returned yet (from international duty). Today was the first day that we had Cameron (Burgess) and Massimo (Luongo) back in.

"The players who have stayed here have trained really well, we've had a really good week and those who have come back have come back in good health and really good spirits so we're in a healthy position going into the games ahead."

On Burns, who sat out five games with a shoulder injury before returning to action with a late cameo against Swansea, McKenna said: "He seems good. He came on for the 30 minutes at the end, which was pretty early on in his recovery. You can train, but until you go into that first match action you don't really know how you feel. He felt good when he came on and has trained well for the last two weeks.

On Williams, he said: "Brandon's trained well the last two weeks. That gives us really good depth and another option for Saturday and the games coming up."

That leaves just midfielder Lee Evans as the only injured player at present. On the Welshman's recovery from knee surgery, McKenna said: "He's progressing well. He's working hard in the gym and on the bike. He's out of his knee brace and they're happy with how he's progressing. Obviously he's still got a fair way to go, but he's moving in the right direction."

On the recent international break, the Blues boss added: "We've tried to use the time as well as possible.

"We used the early part of last week to train hard, then it was the first time in the season where we able to have a little bit of an extended period of days off. Some saw family, some went away and everyone has come back really fresh and in a really good place. The atmosphere and the energy around the training ground this week has been really good. Everyone is excited now to get started again.

"We've trained really well, I feel, this week, trained really hard. We've spoken about and worked on things that are going to be relevant not just for West Brom, but the whole block of games coming up because we know that once the December games start coming there's not much training time."
