Ross Halls looks at how Ipswich Town's loan players got on for their clubs last night...

CORRIE NDABA

The Irishman continued his recovery from injury as he played the full 90 minutes for Kilmarnock's development side as they suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Ayr United in their final SPFL Reserve Cup group stage match.

Ndaba has been out of action with an ankle injury for nearly a month and will look to add more minutes when Killie host Hearts in the league on Saturday.

KYLE EDWARDS

The winger started but played just the first half for Oxford United as they drew 0-0 with top of the table Bolton Wanderers in League One.

Edwards impressed during the first 45 minutes but was replaced due to him still working his way back from his hamstring injury.

He will hope to make another appearance as the U's host League Two side Grimsby Town in the second round of the FA Cup this weekend.
