Ipswich Town youngster Seth O'Neill has joined Isthmian League North Division side Stowmarket Town on loan.

The 18-year-old, who officially made the switch last month, has already made four appearances for the Suffolk-based club. The move has also seen him link up with fellow Town player Ben Haddoch, who signed for them in October.

O'Neill has been at Town since the age of 13, joining from AFC Sudbury before becoming a full-academy player in the summer of 2021.

He has been on the road to recovery after two serious setbacks. In his first year as a scholar, he suffered a double pars stress fracture in his back before he ruptured his cruciate ligament, which kept him out for majority of last season.

The right-back has since returned to action and featured for the under-21's at the start of this campaign. He will represent the Old Gold & Blacks until January 2nd.

They are currently bottom of the table after a tough season so far, losing 11 of their opening 13 league games.
