Ipswich Town goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky has been linked with a move to Scottish Premiership side Celtic, and his agent has been quick to highlight the 'priority' ahead of the January transfer window.

The 33-year-old only established himself in the Blues' starting lineup at the beginning of the season, with first-choice shot-stopper Christian Walton ruled out until October with plantar fasciitis.

Since then, Hladky has been one of the top goalkeepers in the Championship, helping his side establish to themselves in the automatic promotion places at the halfway point in the campaign.

As a result, there has been reported interest from elsewhere, with Celtic named as one of the clubs looking to acquire his services according to Czech outlet iSport. As his contract expires at the end of the season, Brendan Rodgers' side can open discussions in January ahead of a potential free transfer in the summer.

Asked about interest from elsewhere, Hladky's agent Martin Stepanovsky said (via the Daily Record): "We have some teams registering inquiries, which is understandable given Vaclav's performances, the position of Ipswich and the expiring contract. However, the priority is to agree on an extension and advance to the Premier League."

The Glasgow-based club are also linked with a move for Real Madrid's Andriy Lunin, whose contract is also set to expire at the end of the season. Their current first-choice goalkeeper is former Manchester City and England international Joe Hart.
