Ipswich Town Women look to progress to the semi-finals of the FA WNL Cup as they host Portsmouth this afternoon (2pm). Ross Halls previews the game.

The Tractor Girls secured their first win of 2024 with a 6-1 at London Bees last weekend, but they’ll have to switch their focus back to cup action as they face Portsmouth in the last eight.

Town have already beaten Billiercay Town and Cardiff City to progress to this round, where they will face a Pompey side who are top of the Southern Premier Division.

Joe Sheehan's side suffered two defeats against Pompey last season in the league. The two sides will face each other for the first time this campaign.

They will go head-to-head next weekend too, although that will be in the league at the AGL Arena in Felixstowe.
