MACAULEY BONNE

Town career: 2021-2022 (on loan from QPR)

Appearances: 46 Goals: 12

The forward made a deadline day move to League One side Cambridge United, on loan from Gillingham until the end of the season.

Bonne reunites with manager Neil Harris, who signed him for the Gills on a free transfer in the summer after he left Charlton Athletic.

JACK MARRIOTT

Town career: 2009-2015 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 3

The forward also made a deadline day switch by leaving Fleetwood Town to join League Two's Hollywood high-flyers Wrexham for an undisclosed fee.

Marriott joined the Cods from Peterborough United last January window and went on to score 13 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions.

AARON DRINAN

Town career: 2018-2021

Appearances: 24 Goals: 1

The Irishman made a late deadline day switch after he left Leyton Orient to join League Two side Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee.

Drinan joined the O’s from the Blues in the summer of 2021, and helped Richie Wellens' side win the League Two title last season.

TYREEQ BAKINSON

Town career: 2016 (on loan from Bristol City)

Appearances: 17 Goals: 2

The midfielder became Charlton Athletic's first January addition on loan from Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season.

Bakinson helped the Owls win promotion to the Championship last season but now returns to to the third tier with the Addicks.

SCOTT FRASER

Town career: 2021-2022

Appearances: 20 Goals: 1

The midfielder has joined Scottish Premiership side Hearts on loan from Charlton Athletic until the end of the season.

Fraser joined the Addicks from the Blues on deadline day in January 2022, scoring 10 goals in 78 games since, but stated his desire to return to his homeland.

JOE GARNER

Town career: 2017-2018

Appearances: 32 Goals: 10

Another forward to have a new club this January, Garner signed for National League club Oldham Athletic on a free transfer. 

Garner joined the Latics from Carlisle United, dropping into the non-league pyramid for the first time in his career and linking up with with another ex-Town forward in James Norwood.

GWION EDWARDS

Town career: 2018-2021

Appearances: 108 Goals: 14

The Welshman has joined League Two side Morecambe on a deal until the end of the season after he was released by Wigan as they they finished bottom of the Championship last campaign. 

Edwards turned down a new deal at Town to join Wigan in 2021, but was largely used as an impact substitute over his two-year spell at the DW Stadium. 

ANDRE DOZZELL

Town career: 2009-2021 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 93 - Goals: 3

The midfielder has made a loan switch to Birmingham City from fellow Championship side QPR for the rest of the season.

Dozzell joined the R's from from Ipswich in 2021 and became former Blues defender Tony Mowbray's first signing after taking over as manager at St. Andrew's.

BERSANT CELINA

Town career: 2017-2018 and 2021-2022 (0n loan from Man City/Dijon)

Appearances: 73 - Goals: 14

The Kosovan's loan spell at Swedish club AIK has been made permanent from French side Dijon after being on loan at the Allsvenskan side during the 2023 season. 

Celina signed a two-and-a-half year deal to end his spell in France, having spent most of the time out on loan, with Town, Kasimpasa and Stoke City. 

JOSH EARL

Town career: 2020 (on loan from Preston)

Appearances: 7

The defender made a deadline day switch to Barnsley after agreeing a three-and-a-half year deal from fellow League One side Fleetwood Town. 

Earl joins the Tykes' challenge for promotion with them in fifth in the third tier, five points off the automatic promotion spots.

KYLE EDWARDS

Town career: 2021-2024

Appearances: 63 - Goals: 3

The winger had his contract terminated by mutual consent at Portman Road, having spent the first half of the 2023/24 season at Oxford United.

Edwards went on to sign for the League One outfit on a permanent deal with the club until the end of the season.

HAYDEN COULSON

Town career: 2021 (on loan from Middlesbrough)

Appearances: 6

The full-back is another player to have dropped down to League One to join Blackpool from Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the season.

Coulson spent the 2022/23 season on loan with Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen, playing 31 times across all competitions.

DOMINIC THOMPSON

Town career: 2022 (on loan from Brentford)

Appearances: 17

The full-back joined League Two strugglers Forest Green Rovers from Blackpool on loan until the end of the season.

Thompson was signed by Troy Deeney who has since been sacked and replaced by Steve Cotterill, with them rock bottom of the fourth tier. 

DYLAN CROWE

Town career: 2013-2022 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 1

The defender has switch non-league clubs by signing for National League north side King's Lynn Town on a permanent deal from Torquay United. 

Crowe was released by the Blues in the summer of 2022 and went on to join the Gulls, where he made close to 50 appearances for them.

JAMES ALABI

Town career: 2015-2016

Appearances: 1 Goals: 1

The forward joined National League South Bath City on a short-term contract until the end of the season after being a free agent since the summer. 

Alabi spent last season at Maidstone, where he scored two goals in 26 league games as they suffered relegation to the sixth tier. 

JOSH HARROP

Town career: 2021 (on loan from Preston)

Appearances: 14

The midfielder signed for Cheltenham Town on a deal until the end of the season, following a successful trial period at the Robins.

Harrop spent the first half of the season as a free agent following his departure from Northampton Town at the end of last term.
