Ipswich Town Women forward Natasha Thomas reached a huge milestone in her recent outing for the club.

The forward became just the third female player in the club's history to make 200 appearances after playing in the Tractor Girls' 2-2 draw with Cheltenham Town last Sunday.

Thomas joined Town from Lowestoft Town in October 2015 after starting her career at grassroots level with Waveney.

The 28-year-old has played a crucial role in the club’s upward trajectory, helping the Tractor Girls win promotion to the third-tier in 2021.

She is the club's all-time leading goalscorer with 145 goals and has netted 19 times in 20 games this season so far.

Thomas is the club's longest serving player and was made a trustee for Ipswich Town's Foundation alongside men's star Conor Chaplin in 2021.

Amanda Crump and Lindsey Cooper are the only two other players to have played more than her, making 216 and 210 appearances respectively.

Meanwhile, Joe Sheehan has celebrated five years in charge. He has had 123 games as manager.

The Tractor Girls now have a run of three home fixtures in seven days, starting with MK Dons this Sunday at the AGL Arena in Felixstowe.

They are currently fifth in the FA WNL Southern Premier Division table.
