Ipswich Town goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky says the team will go into their crucial Championship run-in believing they can win every game.

A 6-0 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday last weekend meant Kieran McKenna's men went into the final international break of the season on a real high, with seven wins claimed from the last eight games.

And it looks like the Blues will need to produce a near faultless eight-game finish if they are to replace either Leeds or Leicester in the top-two and secure back-to-back automatic promotions into the Premier League.

"Saturday was probably the best way we could go into an international break," said Hladky.

"The next two weeks will be the same as always. We've got some days off to recover a bit, but there will also be a lot of hard work. There are eight big games in front of us and we want to be prepared as much as we can."

Asked if the recent run of results gave the players belief they could do something special, the Czech keeper replied: "There's always belief. It's been that way for two years now. The biggest belief is that we can win every single game. We will start with the next game."

Reflecting on last weekend's demolition of the previously in-form Owls, Hladky said: "It was enjoyable for everybody in the stadium. Listen, it seems really easy, but you have to start well, you have to go through some difficulties, we did that, then got the rewards. Every game is a challenge and this one was as well.

"If you watch back our games we always create loads of chances. A lot of our games, especially here, could have ended up like that. This time pretty much everything went in.

"They tried to play, tried to press us as high as possible. But we have been together as a group, with our manager, for two-and-a-half years. They have been with their manager for a few months. That makes a difference.

"We're delighted with the clean sheet because we have conceded too many goals this season. Even when it was 4-0, 5-0, 6-0, we kept speaking to each other that we had to work hard to the end to get the clean sheet. We did that well."

Town return to action with Easter weekend fixtures against Blackburn (a) and Southampton (h), before facing Norwich (a), Watford (h), Middlesbrough (h), Hull (a), Coventry (a) and Huddersfield (h).
