Norwich City star Jonny Rowe is set to miss Saturday's East Anglian derby against Ipswich Town.

Rowe, 20, came into the Canaries' team at the start of the season and hit a hot run of form, ending September with six goals and two assists to his name.

He went on to score a brace against Town in the last meeting between the two teams, which ended in a 2-2 draw at Portman Road on December 16th.

His form slowed up a bit after that, and he picked up a hamstring injury away at QPR on February 10th. He hasn't played since then.

Manager David Wagner has been stay patient with the winger, hoping that he could play a part in the run-in, but he has since confirmed that the clash against Ipswich will come too soon for him to be involved.

There are also doubts over versatile midfielder Jacob Sorensen, who also picked up a hamstring injury in yesterday's 3-1 defeat at Leicester City. The 26-year-old started the match at centre-back, playing alongside Ben Gibson, but he had to be replaced by Shane Duffy after just 10 minutes.

Left-back Dimitrios Giannoulis [hamstring] and winger Onel Hernandez [foot] are both expected to miss the rest of the season.
