Ross Halls looks at how Ipswich Town's loan players got on for their clubs yesterday.


The forward scored twice for Cambridge United as they made it back-to-back victories with a 3-1 home win against Wigan Athletic in League One.

Ahadme marked his first start of 2024 with a sweeping finish into the far corner to open the scoring in the 11th minute before he nodded home his second in the 57th minute for his 12th goal of the season for the U's. 

The result moves Garry Monk's side six points clear of the relegation zone with six games to play. They travel to Blackpool this weekend. 


Ladapo started and played 62 minutes for Charlton Athletic as they were held to a goalless draw with Stevenage in the third tier.

Camara was not in the matchday squad again for Nathan Jones' side who extended their unbeaten run to ten league matches and drew their 17th game of the season. 

The Addicks are eight points clear of the relegation zone and will return to action when they host Barnsley this weekend. 


The Tunisian midfielder was not involved for Leyton Orient as they were beaten 2-1 at home against Peterborough United in League One. 

El Mizouni missed the game due to suffering a potentially season-ending injury for Richie Wellens' side in their last game away at Lincoln City. 

The O's are nine points away from the play-offs with them next in action at home against Cheltenham Town on Saturday. 


The defender was not involved for Bristol Rovers as they were held to a goalless draw at home with Shrewsbury Town in League One. 

Baggott is recovering from a calf problem which has seen him miss the last two games for Matt Taylor's side who are now without a win in their last five games.

They look to return to winning ways when they host Bolton Wanderers this weekend. 


The keeper played the full 90 minutes for Solihull Moors as they won 1-0 at Wealdstone to enhance their chances of reaching the National League play-offs.

Hayes made a crucial save before stoppage time to deny the host before Andy Whing’s side struck in the fifth minute of stoppage time to earn all three points to move up to fifth in the table. 

The Moors switch their focus to cup action as they travel to Bromley in the semi-final of the FA Trophy this weekend.


Keeper Gray played the full 90 minutes for Chelmsford City as they lost 1-0  at already-relegated Dover Athletic in the National League South. 

Midfielder Barbrook was not involved for Robbie Simpson's side as he recovers from a minor injury and is set to be back for the final games of the season. 

The Clarets remain in second place with them returning to action on Saturday when they host Slough Town. 


The duo played the full 90 minutes for Leiston as they lost 4-2 at Royston Town in the Southern League Premier Central.

Former Town winger Ross Crane was sent-off for two bookable offences as the Suffolk side moved down to 13th in the table.

The Blues will look to get back to winning ways when they host Hitchin Town this weekend. 


Keeper Cullum and Midfielder Haddoch featured for ten-man Ipswich Wanderers as they drew with Felixstowe & Walton United in the Isthmian League North Division. 

O'Neill was an unused sub for Felixstowe as he awaits to make his debut for the Seasiders who sit second in the table, while Wanderers are 17th. 

The two sides before return to action this weekend with them both at home against Witham Town and Brightlingsea Regent respectively. 


The keeper played the full 90 minutes for Cheshunt as they lost 3-0 at Enfield Town in the Isthmian League Premier Division.

Craig Edwards' side are still six points above the relegation zone and will look to get back to winning ways when they host Lewes on Saturday. 




Teddy Bishop scored for Lincoln City as they continued their late League One play-off charge with a 3-1 victory over relegation-threatened Carlisle United.

Gwion Edwards netted his third goal for Morecambe as beat fellow promotion chasers Barrow 2-1 at home to keep their League Two play-off hopes alive.

Ellis Harrison scored a brace for Milton Keynes Dons in their 3-3 draw with Notts County in the fourth tier, the forward's first goals since the start of 2024. 

George Fowler opened the scoring for Maidstone United as they they were held to a 1-1 draw by Welling United in the National League South.
