Ipswich Town duo Corrie Ndaba and Nick Hayes both featured for their loan clubs over the weekend.

Defender Ndaba helped Kilmarnock confirm their place in next season’s Europa League second qualifying round after their 1-0 win at St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season in Scotland, making 35 appearances and scoring once for Derek McInnes' side, who sealed a fourth-place finish with two games to go.

He is contracted to the Blues until the summer of 2025, with the club having an option for a further season.

Killie return to action on Wednesday when they play their final home game of the season against Celtic.

Goalkeeper Hayes suffered another Wembley defeat as his loan side Solihull Moors were beaten 5-4 on penalties by Gateshead in the FA Trophy final.

Last week, Hayes saved one spot-kick as the Moors were beaten 4-3 in a shootout by Bromley in the National League play-off final.

Hayes stopped three Gateshead spot-kicks but his side were beaten 5-4, with the game ending 2-2 after extra-time.

The 25-year-old joined the Moors in December, making 32 appearances during his impressive stint in the West Midlands. He is out of contract with Town this summer, having spent the last two seasons as the fourth-choice 'keeper.
