Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna was seen at last night's Premier League crunch clash between Aston Villa and Liverpool at Villa Park.

The match ended in a 3-3 draw as Youri Tielemans' strike cancelled out Emiliano Martinez's early own-goal. However, the Reds took control with goals from Cody Gakpo and Jarell Quansah before a late brace from substitute Jhon Duran earned the hosts a vital point that puts them on the brink of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.

Sky Sports spotted McKenna, who celebrates his 38th birthday today, before the start of the game, figuring out that he was talking to England manager Gareth Southgate in one of the executive boxes before the game.

The pair were pictured together during the match too, with the Town boss sat exactly a row behind Hollywood superstar Tom Hanks, who started supporting the Villans because he saw their name in a list of results and thought it sounded 'like a place you'd go on holiday in the summertime'.

The Blues will face both Aston Villa and Liverpool next season, having last faced the Reds in a league game on the final day of the 2001/02 campaign, when they were relegated from the top flight following a 5-0 defeat at Anfield.

The fixtures for the upcoming Premier League season will be revealed on Tuesday, June 18th, with the action kicking off over the weekend of August 17th.
