Posting on Facebook, Enniskillen Town United said: "This morning a very special guest presented each age group with their certificate of achievement for the 2023/24 season: massive thanks to former ‘Town’ player Kieran McKenna for graciously giving up his time to surprise them.
"The children didn’t hold back when asking their questions! Some even asking to be signed!"
A later post added: "Just a casual Saturday at the Pavilion when Ipswich Town Football Club Manager and former ‘Town’ player Kieran McKenna makes an appearance and talks tactics with the players!
"Well done everybody on a hugely successful 2023/24 season. We are lucky to have had a fantastic morning with one of the best."
McKenna also visited Fermanagh Cumann na mBunscol, who promote Gaelic games to young boys and girls in Fermanagh primary schools, receiving a copy of a book that recalls the early days of his playing career.
