Former Premier League player and coach Jody Morris believes Ipswich Town will be promoted to the top tier this season - and then immediately relegated again.
Town are on the brink of their third promotion in four seasons, with a win over QPR on Saturday at Portman Road (12.30pm) enough to clinch second place in the Championship.
They came straight back down from the Premier League last season though and Morris, who played for and coached at Chelsea in the top tier, fears that is likely to happen again.
Indeed, he believes that all three sides who go up to the Premier League - including runaway champions Coventry City - are set to tumble back through the trapdoor in 2026/27.
"I hate to say it, but I worry for any team that gets promoted about staying up," Morris told FindSisterSites.
"I think Ipswich will be the ones that go up with Coventry. They have parachute payments, good squad depth and Kieran McKenna has done it before.
"But you have to say that the job that Alex Neil has done at Millwall is absolutely phenomenal, it’s phenomenal that they've still got a chance of automatic promotion.
"Ok, they've had a slip-up of late, but they've been absolutely phenomenal and what a job he's done.
"Then you look at the Southampton run that they've been on, it’s outstanding for them to get up there.
"So, I think Ipswich would be the ones that go up automatically, but you have to look at Southampton and Millwall at the moment being the ones that you could see winning the play-offs.
"But like I said, I'd worry for all three teams going straight back down."
