Ipswich Town are said to be 'hanging about' in the race to sign Burnley midfielder Florentino Luis.
Hull City have been heavily linked with a move for the 26-year-old, while Alan Nixon reports that Fulham are also interested, and that the Blues are 'hanging about with this one too'.
It's been widely reported that a clause in Florentino's contract will allow him to leave on loan from August 1st, with Clarets boss Nicky Hayen revealing that he was left out of a pre-season defeat to Ajax to avoid any fitness issues ahead of a possible move.
The 12-cap Portugal Under-21 international, who was born in Angola, came through the ranks at Benfica, spending time on loan at AS Monaco and Getafe before his switch to Turf Moor last summer.
While his time at Burnley was also a loan at first, it became permanent for a reported fee of €24m (around £20.6m) due to an obligation at the end of last season.

We revealed last weekend that a midfielder with Premier League experience is top of Town's list of transfer priorities, with Fulham's Sasa Lukic understood to be a target.
Alex's verdict
I'll be honest, I'm not fully bought into the hype around Florentino. I think he's capable at Premier League level, but no more than that. He certainly didn't do loads to impress me in the top flight last season.
But there are big clubs said to be eyeing him up. Perhaps as a physical, defensive midfielder with 31 Premier League appearances last season, he ticks key boxes, and the supposed loan clause in his contract feels significant too.
I'd be keen to see Ipswich go after a different profile of midfielder, but he wouldn't be a bad option to have if the deal is right. Town need bodies through the door, and Florentino feels like someone who could support Azor Matusiwa as well.
My gut feeling is that a move to Hull is still the most likely conclusion, but the race seems to be hotting up.
