Sudbury won a scrappy match in tricky conditions at the MEL Group Stadium and moved into fourth place in the Ryman League Division One North Table.

In a game littered with petty fouls, Sudbury took the lead in the 22nd minute when Payton Swatman’s cross from the left was missed by Rhys Madden in the Ware goal and Ryan Henshaw was left unmarked at the far post to score.

Eight minutes later the visitors were level when, following a trip outside the area, Reynolds curled home a classy free-kick into the top corner.

The second continued in similar vein with numerous side able to gain control although AFC had far more possession.

The winning goal came on 72 minutes when Matt Daniels broke down the left side and crossed to substitute James Baker who, with his back to goal, turned and fired low into the bottom corner.
