A Newmarket and District SC stalwart has been honoured with a special award.
Paul Bowman has been helping out at the club since his daughter Gemma was a member.
Now he has been presented with the Regional Volunteer of the Year Award in recognition of his loyal support of the club.
Over around 25 years with Newmarket Mr Bowman has held positions such as team manager, Swim21 co-ordinator and county representative. He is also a level two judge.
The award was presented by East Region ASA president Gerry Metcalf at its annual council meeting in September.
