ELENA Baltacha lost a final set lead before stumbling to defeat against 20th seed Shuai Peng in the second round of Wimbledon today.
Baltacha, from Ipswich, started the match well and claimed the first set 6-4 before her highly-ranked opponent fought back to claim the second 6-2.
Baltacha broke first in the third and final set and raced to a 4-2 lead before she was broken from 40-15 up as she served for a 5-2 advantage.
A rejuvenated Peng then took the battle to the Suffolk star, firing powerful shots from all over the court.
Baltacha fought valiantly, but eventually succumbed 3-6, 6-2, 7-5.
