RELEGATION threatened Barnsley promise to make Ipswich Town work hard to impress their supporters in the quest to sell season tickets.

Results have meant the Tykes are one place and two points above the drop zone after Burnley beat Plymouth 4-0, while QPR shocked play-off hopefuls Preston.

Barnsley midfielder Sam Togwell stressed the importance of taking points against Ipswich on Saturday and at home to Birmingham City on Monday.

He said: “There are lots of points to play for over the Easter period and we have to come away with four to six points to give us a chance of staying up.

“It will be tough but we know that a good Easter will give us a great chance of pulling out of danger and putting other teams in the mire.

“We are confident and we believe that we will be playing Championship football at Oakwell next season. It is up to us to get the results we need to achieve that. We are positive and we know what we have to do.”

Barnsley will be without livewire midfielder Martin Devaney who is suspended although they will have Lewin Nyatanga back from injury.

Skipper Paul Reid is hoping to be fit after losing a couple of teeth in a clash with Jon Macken in their defeat by Derby.
