THERE is no meeting at Foxhall this Thursday, but next Thursday the club are staging the John Berry Tribute Meeting.
A 13-heat clash, it will be between the Witches and Rye House, as well as a full second half champion of the evening programme.
All the Witches will be racing, while Rye House will be using Kevin Doolan, the former Witches skipper, as a guest.
Ex-riders from the John Berry era will be in attendance, including Jeremy Doncaster, Ted Howgego, Mike Lanham, Shrimp Davey and Preben Eriksen, with more hopefully to be announced.
This weekend the current Witches ride in the Premier League at Workington on Saturday and Glasgow on Sunday.
