Goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski has signed a new two-year contract which will keep him at Portman Road until the summer of 2018.
The Pole, who recently reclaimed the number one jersey following an injury to Dean Gerken, was due to be out of contract at the end of the season but has today signed a new deal, which also includes an option for a further 12 months.
“Obviously I’m very happy to have signed a new contract,” the keeper told the club website.
“My contract was up in the summer and I had a few calls about what I was going to do but I was only interested in staying at Ipswich and I’m looking forward to the future here.
“I have been pleased with my performances since I returned to the team. I have felt very confident and made some good saves but then that is my job really!”
