SUFFOLK skipper Justin Bishop faces going under the knife again at the end of this season.
The 29-year-old former Essex all-rounder missed five of Suffolk’s six Minor Counties Championship matches last season due to the injury to his left knee which required an operation in the winter.
Although the operation was a success, Bishop has since been told he needs to grow some more cartilage around the knee to provide added support.
Bishop is due to lead Suffolk in their second Minor Counties KO Trophy group match, against Lincolnshire at Ipswich School, on Sunday, start 11am.
