Following a two-week international break, Ipswich Town return to action with a game at fellow Championship strugglers Blackburn Rovers.
The Blues have lost their last five matches at Ewood Park but desperately need a Rovers return following a bad run of form.
Mick McCarthy’s men have drawn a blank in their last four matches and netted just three times from open play in more than 1,000 minutes of action to slip to 16th in the table.
New Blackburn boss Owen Coyle made 11 summer signings – seven of them on loan, three on free transfers and £250k on Bristol City left-back Derrick Williams. The Lancashire outfit have improved followed early heavy defeats to Norwich (4-1) and Wigan (3-0), but a string of narrow losses mean they occupy the relegation zone.
