AIDY Boothroyd is expected to be unveiled as Coventry City boss this afternoon.
The Championship club have announced that there will be a press conference at the Rioch Arena at 2.30pm to unveil their new boss.
Colchester United chairman Robbie Cowling gave the Sky Blues permission to speak to Boothroyd yesterday and a compensation package has already been agreed.
Coventry finished 19th in the Championship this season and sacked manager Chris Coleman towards the end of the campaign.
Boothroyd, having only taken over at the U’s last September, had the Essex side in contention for automatic promotion for much of the League One season, before a dramatic downturn in form saw them plummet to eighth.
