BRAINTREE Town are on the look-out for a new manager after sacking George Borg this week. Borg had guided Iron into the Blue Square South during his tenure on the Cressing Road hot-seat, but was made to pay for a series of poor results this season.
Chairman Lee Harding decided to wield the axe following a Board meeting this week. Braintree lost their fifth game on the bounce against Hayes & Yeading United last weekend, to drop into the bottom five. They have only won two of their 13 games this season.
