BRAINTREE Town are set for an FA Cup cash windfall after their first round proper tie against Tranmere Rovers was today chosen for live television coverage.
Iron’s clash at home to Ronnie Moore’s npower League One pacesetters will be shown live on ITV on Sunday, November 4, kick-off 12.30pm.
The Blue Square Bet Premier outfit and their opponents will each receive a live broadcast fee of �63,800.
With other spin-offs from hosting the tie, Iron will receive a massive cash boost, even before taking into account the �18,000 they would receive as winners should they reach the second round proper.
Cambridge City’s home tie against MK Dons will also be shown live on ITV, on Friday, November 2, kick-off 7.30pm.
