Brett Vale Golf Club's ladies' section has raised �1,070 for Macmillan with charity games.
Golfers in Suffolk have raised more than £1,000 to help with the fight against cancer.
The ladies’ section of Brett Vale Golf Club, in Raydon, donated the £1,070 they raised in 2014 to Mandy Jordan, of Macmillan Cancer Support, at a presentation event last week.
Sue Curran, captain of the ladies’ section for 2014, said she had selected Macmillan because of its work with cancer, “which most families are touched by”.
“I’m very grateful to all the ladies who gave their time and money so generously to raise this total, which I think is very good for a small club like ours,” she said.
