Ipswich Town travel to Ashton Gate for a Championship clash against play-off chasing Bristol City this afternoon (3pm).

The Blues head west on the back of a difficult week in which they drew 0-0 with Sheffield United last weekend before Tuesday night’s tough defeat to Hull.

In what is their final game ahead of a two-week international break, the Blues will be hoping to back up what has been a good recent away record, which has produced wins at Sunderland, Preston and Sheffield Wednesday and draws at Norwich and Bolton in their last five away games.

Joe Garner is out after it was revealed his season is over due to a small fracture at the base of his skull, while Dominic Iorfa, Mustapha Carayol, David McGoldrick, Teddy Bishop, Tom Adeyemi, Andre Dozzell and Emyr Huws are all out.

Cole Skuse is expected to play after recovering from the hamstring injury which kept him out of the midweek loss to Hull.
