Teenager Jasmin Taylor has added to her growing list of medals after claiming bronze in the duel sprint event at the World Junior Championships in Espot, Spain.
The 18-year secured a podium finish, having earlier finished fourth in the classic race. She then ended the later sprint race in sixth.
Taylor’s bronze is the first ever medal picked up by a British telemark skier.
Earlier in the month, the Colchester-born, Ipswich-based skier competed in a World Cup race in France, finishing ninth overall, and third junior (a personal best) in the classic race.
“For now, this season I am pleased with what I have achieved and I done much better than I expected,” said the British number one.
