Bury Town, without a win in their last 13 games, in all competitions, entertain champions AFC Sudbury in a Ryman North clash at Ram Meadow tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
Sudbury wrapped up promotion by winning 1-0 at Tilbury on Saturday, at the same time clinching the title and also breaking the 100-point barrier.
By contrast Bury, who were outside bets for the play-offs earlier in the season, have struggled over the last two months. Ben Chenery’s men have lost their last five on the bounce, and lost nine and drawn four of their last 13 fixtures, although they remain safe in mid-table. Their last success was a 4-1 win over Redbridge on February 2.
