BURY Town lifted the John Banks Suffolk FA Premier Cup final at a rain-lashed Portman Road tonight.
Craig Parker gave Bury the lead after 13 minutes and skipper Tom Bullard headed home the second after 65 minutes to sink great rivals Lowestoft Town.
Bury had to withstand some strong second-half pressure from the Trawlerboys, who sent Jamie Godbold on for his 500th and final appearance two minutes from time.
