Park dominated this game and went ahead early on when Sarah Whatling unselfishly passed the ball to an unmarked Denise Manning who slotted home. Park quickly added their second when Denise Manning converted a well struck cross. Sudbury pulled a goal back from a well taken strike from a penalty corner. Sarah Whatling scored the third when a shot on goal was deflected and looped over the advancing goalie and into the net. Lynn Whittingstall added her name to the score sheet when an excellent pass through the defender's legs found Lynn who finished in clinical fashion.
Sarah Whatling added her second with a thunderous strike into the goal. In the second half Park moved the ball well and Emma Tuckwell was unlucky to add her name to the goal sheet when her shot went inches wide. Two more goals by Sarah Whatling and one each from Denise Manning and Lynn Whittingstall sealed the win before Sudbury pulled a consolation goal with another well taken penalty corner. Georgie Coulson had an outstanding game and added strength to the defence of Mel Rodwell, Kirsty Marshall and Kerry Whatling.
