MO Camara's summer move to Ipswich Town is in the balance, with Celtic still in the frame.

The Guinea international (pictured right) is understood to be keen on joining the Blues but is in no hurry, and his agent has had interest from other clubs.

A source close to Camara in the north-west told the EADT: "Nothing has been decided. Mo has not turned down Celtic because as of yet they have not spoken. Celtic have not firmed up their interest and are not expected to until the end of their season.

"Nothing has been signed at Ipswich yet, although Mo would be prepared to join them even if they don't make the Premiership.

"Nothing will happen there either until their season is completed."

Town are desperate for a left-back, with Matt Richards seen more as a left-sided midfielder, and Camara was identified some time ago as the ideal choice.

The EADT revealed in January that Burnley had rejected a loan move for the defender, who has subsequently turned down an improved contract to keep him at Turf Moor.

Camara is now a free agent and is also a close friend of fellow Guinean Drissa Diallo, who joined Town from Burnley two years ago.
