Chance to enter inter-firm cup

AFTER the successful re-launch of the Ipswich Inter-Firm Football Cup, companies now have the opportunity to enter the 2009/10 competition.Back after an absence of eight years, the competition made a big impact last season with Ipswich Postals the winners and the following other sides taking part: Ipswich Police, ISG Jackson, Barnes Group, BT, John Grose, Ipswich Borough Council and Call Connection.

AFTER the successful re-launch of the Ipswich Inter-Firm Football Cup, companies now have the opportunity to enter the 2009/10 competition.

“With Suffolk continuing to buck a national trend that shows a decline in male 11-aside football, the competition offers opportunities to footballers who cannot play in traditional weekend leagues.

“It also gives local businesses already playing friendly fixtures a chance to play in a competitive and well-organised competition.”
