CHELMSFORD City have confirmed the appointment of Mansell Wallace as the club's new Chairman having secured the full backing of the Directors at a Board Meeting at the Clubhouse on Thursday night.
Wallace, a self-made local businessman and life-long Chelmsfordian born and brought-up just 200 yards away from the Clarets' current home, succeeds former Chairman Peter Webb, who will remain at the club as a Director.
