CHELSEA have confirmed Russia coach Guus Hiddink will manage the club until the end of the season, in a statement on their official website.
The 62-year-old, who replaces the sacked Luiz Filipe Scolari, will combine the two roles, having spoken of his determination to guide the Russians through to the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.
Hiddink has previous experience of holding two jobs at the same time, having coached Australia and PSV Eindhoven simultaneously.
