LAKESIDE boss Jon Cook is delighted to welcome Robert Mear back to the sport this season after the British youngster sat out the 2010 campaign.
Mear has been handed a full-time place in the Hammers’ team and is back with the club he represented in 2009.
Cook said: “It’s an absolute delight to have him back on track and racing. Although a mandatory British rider wasn’t introduced, we felt it was a policy we wanted to follow anyway.
“Robert was a delight to have around in ’09 and having committed to race in the Elite only, I know our fans will give him every support this year.”
