CHRIS Coyne has left Colchester United by mutual consent, and is set to team up with his younger brother Jamie Coyne at Perth Glory in his native Australia.

Centre-half Coyne still had two years remaining on his contract at the Community Stadium, but had fallen out of favour with manager Paul Lambert.

He believes that he stands a better chance of playing for the Socceroos at next year's World Cup Finals in South Africa by playing regular football in Australia.
