Three teams from AFC Sudbury will feature in this season’s Suffolk FA Youth Cup Finals Day at Kirkley & Pakefield FC.

The club’s boys’ under-13, under-14 and under-16 sides all won their respective semi-finals at Sunday’s feast of football at The New Croft in Haverhill which saw 18 ties take place on one day.

It means AFC Sudbury will have representative in four of this season’s ten Youth finals as they will also be defending the Boys’ Under-18 Midweek Cup which they won last season.

Suffolk FA County Cup Competitions Manager Adrian Moye said: “We had some concerns about the rain, but it held off and all the matches went ahead as scheduled. Peter Betts and his staff at The New Croft did an excellent job in organising the day on our behalf.

“We now look forward to staging our Youth Cup Finals Day at Kirkley & Pakefield on Sunday, May 14th.”
