DEAN Bowditch has joined Brentford on a month's loan from Ipswich Town.
The Blues striker was handed a new one year deal in the summer but has made just one appearance, as a substitute in the 4-1 League Cup loss against Wigan, and he needs games.
Manager Jim Magilton said: “I still have a lot of faith in Dean. He is a very, very good footballer and has a future in the game.
“He needs games though and Brentford will give him a good opportunity to play.
“They are a very good footballing side, as we saw in pre-season, and they are doing well in the league so Dean joins a side high in confidence.”
