ELENA Baltacha will face Garbine Muguruza Blanco of Spain or Poland’s Urszula Radwanska in the quarter finals of the AEGON Trophy, in Nottingham, after a routine win this afternoon.
The number three seed defeated Portugal’s Michelle Larcher De Brito 6-4, 6-2 in just over one hour, serving nine aces on her way to victory.
Ipswich-based Baltacha is gearing up for Wimbledon which starts in just under three weeks time and then faces an anxious wait to see if she will gain a wildcard for this summer’s Olympic Games
