Boss David Moyes is refusing to give up the chase despite the player just signing a lucrative new contract.
Moyes has monitored Sessegnon for months and believes the skilful playmaker can help the Toffees into the top four.
Moyes watched Sessegnon in PSG's 1-1 draw at Montpellier on Saturday.
Sessegnon, 25, has also been watched this term by Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.
