Felixstowe & Walton United travel across county to The New Croft, Haverhill, this afternoon hoping to extend their impressive away record of just one defeat and eight goals conceded on their 11 away-days to date (3pm).

Haverhill Rovers shared the points at the Goldstar Ground back in October with a 2-2 draw in a game that saw Rovers player-manager Michael Shinn controversially sent off after colliding with the match referee.

Shinn will be looking to end a run of eight games without a win that has yielded just five points, leaving them in 14th spot in the table, 13 points adrift of their visitors, who dropped out of the top three last weekend following their home draw with title-chasing Godmanchester Rovers.

Indeed the Seasiders lost further ground in midweek without playing, as Stanway climbed above them following their win at Ipswich Wanderers – the Seasiders now travel to the New Croft in sixth spot.

Felixstowe have won four and drawn three of their last eight games and will want to extend their good form.

But the New Croft has not been a happy hunting ground for them since Rovers moved there at the end of the 2009/10 season.

The four trips to date have yielded just a single point, a 1-1 draw in 2010 – with three goals conceded on each of the three league visits since.

Leading scorer Ben Cranfield has been on target on the last two visits and will look to add to his 18 league goals to date and Felixstowe manager Kevin O’Donnell should have a full squad to choose from. He will be looking for his side to show the same commitment evident in the last two home games.

Whitton United will look to keep their impressive run of form going as they entertain Fakenham at the King George V this afternoon (3pm).

The Greens are on a run of just one defeat in nine games in all competitions.
