speedway: Mildenhall Fen Tigers suffered a heavy defeat on the Isle of Wight last night.
The Suffolk side lost 60-33 and only won three heats throughout on a night when their gating deserted them.
Stefan Nielsen was the top scorer for the Suffolk side, but his 13 points included a six-point heat five tactical ride victory, Josh Bates scored 7+1. Ipswich star Adam Ellis scored 9+1 for the Isle of Wight.
