THE final of the Suffolk County (EBA) Bowling Association's Bert Edwards Fours Cup will be between Norbridge, who won the cup for the first time in 2005, and Melton.

Melton have reached the final for the first time in the 36 years of the cup's history.

Norbridge had a comfortable win over Bramford in the semi-final at California, while Melton continued their good run of form with a fine victory over a strong Felixstowe & Suffolk side in the other semi-final at Hopton.

The outcome is difficult to predict as previous games between these two clubs have always included their county players, who are not eligible to play in this competition.

However, the final is sure to be fiercely contested, and a good game is expected.

The match will be played at Brantham Bowls Club on Saturday, August 19 at 2.30pm.
