Sudbury Athletics' Junior Cup quarter-final against Hearts of Oak (Lowestoft) should go ahead on Saturday at Delphi Social Club (1.30pm) after falling foul of the weather last week.
Manager Jules Mumford said: “Five weeks with no game has been frustrating but you just have to deal with what is put in front of you. We've had the boys in for extra training and they have responded tremendously with their effort to keep their fitness levels up.
“We know it'll be a very tough game and cup football is all about performing on the day, we'll need to be at our best to reach the semi-final but we'll be giving it our best shot. I've said before home advantage could be key and we're looking for a good-sized crowd to get behind us.”
