The French midfielder appears to be surplus to requirements at Inter Milan and PSG coach Antoine Kombouare is keen to snap him up.
One potential stumbling block could be Vieira's wage demands but Kombouare believes the problem can be overcome - if the 33-year-old still has the desire to prove himself.
He said: “I talked to him over the phone and he wants to join PSG very much. Obviously, the main problem for us is his wage. He is ready to make an effort but how much?”
