Former Ipswich Town midfielder Jonathan Douglas is on trial at League One side Portsmouth as he bids to secure a return to football.
The 36-year-old has been without a club since leaving Portman Road in the summer but was named in the Pompey reserve side which played Leicester City in the Premier League Cup last night.
Douglas played 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw, as he bids to win a club having also previously spent time on trial at Luton Town.
During his time with the Blues, Douglas made a total of 62 appearances and scored three goals.
