Former Suffolk boss Sharman dies

FORMER Suffolk football manager Bob Sharman died last night at the age of 75.He had been ill for some while and died in a hospice. Bob won every trophy there was to win with the county adult sides and took the Under-18 side to the final of the FA County Youth Cup.

FORMER Suffolk football manager Bob Sharman died last night at the age of 75.

He had been ill for some while and died in a hospice. Bob won every trophy there was to win with the county adult sides and took the Under-18 side to the final of the FA County Youth Cup.

He was also an official of Whitton United and a respected referee.
